Well we WERE planning on going to the mountains…
We thought about going to the mountains this weekend, but now I think we might just put it off for a little while. I guess since I am not a “mountain” person, I was just not expecting there to be a huge demand in the summer for places to stay. And I was definitely not expecting the rates to be what they are at these places! Good night half the places charge anywhere from $55 to $125 for a CLEANING fee! How much do they pay their housekeeping staff?!?!
So, needless to say since I am such a cheapskate, and my dear husband is NOT going to camp out anywhere. I don’t think the mountains will be seen by these eyes for a little while longer at least.
